Impact100 Little Traverse Bay awards grants to nonprofits in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties that address the focus areas stipulated in our Eligibility Criteria.
Important Milestones:
October 22 & 30, 2025: Grant Writing Workshop
January 1, 2026: Grant Applications Open at 6:00pm EST
January 15, 2026: Deadline for Questions
January 31, 2026: Grant Applications Close at 6:00pm EST
February 1, 2026- late-May: Grant Review, Site Visits, Financial Review
June 3, 2026: Notifications and finalists announced
June 24, 2026: Meet the Finalists Event 4:00pm EST-6:00pm EST at Bay Harbor Yacht Club
August 5, 2026: Annual Awards Dinner Voting Event for Finalists at Bay Harbor Yacht Club 5:30-9:00

Focus Areas
Arts & Culture
Initiatives that Develop, Enhance, and/or Preserve the Arts, Music, Culture and/or History of Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties
Education
Initiatives that Further the Educational Process and/or Improve Access to Education for Children, Adults and/or Seniors Living in Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties
Environment
Initiatives that Restore, Revitalize, and/or Enhance the Environment and/or Create and/or Improve Recreational Opportunities in Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties
Family
Initiatives that Strengthen and/or Enhance the Lives of Children, Families, and/or Seniors Living in Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties
Health & Wellness
Initiatives that Improve the Mental and/or Physical Well-Being of People Living in Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties
The Grants Committee ultimately selects two to three finalists to compete for the $100,000 grant at our Annual Meeting.
Eligibility Requirements
- Defined as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Organizations serving the counties in the area
- In possession of at least three full years (36 months) of independently prepared, audited, or reviewed financial statements

No, each organization may submit only one grant application per year and must address the Focus Area described in the criteria.
